[Snow Hare]

I am a little torn reviewing this piece, for several reasons. The first being I have no knowledge of art or much of the artistic process, and so my opinion should, and does indeed, mean very little to anyone but myself. That being said, I would like to share with you how I feel, because you have made me feel so strongly.

I wanted to say that this piece is the reason Newgrounds is such a great site, but this work truly transcends any place it is viewed. Newgrounds isn't only better for hosting this, I am better for viewing this. So much art seems vain to me, selfish, beauty for exploitation, but not this.

This work is what art is to me. This is what makes me want to tell stories, sing songs, draw pictures.

And while I have never experienced a loss so severe, you have shown me, even if barely, how to empathize. For that, there is no reward I could give you to repay my debt.

So for now, these few, cliche words will have to suffice: Thank you.

This would only destroy the universe if you don't consider that at the beginning of time some one had to flip the hour glass once to get time started, in which case this robber just created what might be an infinite loop.

Well Im going to disagree with every one else and say that I did not predict the beginning, at least not all of it. I thought he might lose his finger or something, but watching him get entirely sucked in was pretty funny to me.

I thought the end was more predictable, especially on newgrounds where you can almost guarantee that if it made the front page it has a lot of A. Profanity B. Gore C. Sexual Themes D. A combo of all the above.

I think it would have been funnier if after the kid put in the change the guy crawls out of the machine with a beard and a candy bar, mumbling to himself or something.

But maybe thats just me. Either way, you did a great job with the music, animation, and idea. Something tells me you already knew that.

Since this is such a short film, it would have been nice to see more time taken on details. For example you could have opened with a dramatic scene depicting a full launch site with the classic countdown voice "5...4...." Which would help build suspense.

Otherwise though I think the joke is pretty funny, I just wish it was executed smoother.

Very well animated! Also the audio seemed pretty spot on to me. The humor wasn't exactly for me, but that didn't take away from the quality of the cartoon.

Unbelievable

This is exactly how 'i feel right now. 6 days ago I was in an accident. i was T-boned and almost lost my life, every one that saw it thought i was dead after I was knocked out. But I know God had something in for me when I was pulled out of the crumpled mess with only a broken femur. In the days that followed, and still now I am living uncomfertable, at least recently i was able to go home. Life is 100 times harder than it was before... Going to the bathroom leaves me gasping for air. The only thing I can keep on doing is breathing, and living. i never thought that life would be so tough, but I realize how lucky I got.

i have never cried while watching an animation, but I couldn't help myself after watching this one. You are a great story teller, and I hope you are able to read this and just know how much you have affected me, i know you put unimaginable amounts of work into this.

uh... Yeah, so i liked it! really good animation of course, and classic joke at the end. it would have been cool if that had been the intro to a really long story, eh?

Oh, and to anyone wondering if the cow is random: Its called 'links prize' because after you beat some contest in the game (i forget) link gets a cow in his room that he can milk whenever he wants! But... as this animation cleary shows... who wants a cow in your room?
